Nanping City, a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Fujian Province, is a type I small city. It is located between 117°00′-119°25′ east longitude and 26°30′-28°20′ north latitude. It is located in the northern part of Fujian Province, on the southeast side of the northern section of the Wuyi Mountains.
