Shantou City, referred to as "Shantou", also known as Tuocheng and Tuodao, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Guangdong Province, a provincial sub-central city, and a special economic zone. It is located in the eastern part of Guangdong Province, bordering Chaozhou City and Jieyang City to the north, and the South China Sea to the south.
